According to Personal Data Protection Law (PA) numbered 6698, the details regarding within which scope your personal data will be processed by TEKAY YEDEK PARÇA SAN. ve TİC. A.Ş (“TEKAY” or “Company”) in its capacity as data responsible are submitted for your information in titles as follows:
Methods of Gathering Personal Data and Their Legal Reasons
Personal data is gathered by TEKAY in order to carry out our activities by relying on the legal reasons of complying company policies and the legislations.In accordance with the main principles which are set forth by PA , your personal data can also be processed and transmitted with the intention stated herein Disclosure Letter within the scope of terms and objectives of personal data processing which are set forth in 5th and 6th articles of PA.
Processing of Your Personal Data
In accordance with the main principles set forth by PA and within the scope of the terms and objectives of personal data processing indicated in 5th and 6th articles of PA, your personal data is processed with the purpose of;
– carrying out TEKAY’s commercial activity in compliance with the legislation and company policies,
– planning and executing human resources’ activities,
– ensuring the commercial and legal security of real persons that we are in business relations with,
– protecting the confidence that TEKAY constituted and its commercial credit.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
In accordance with the main principles set forth by PA and within the scope of the terms and objectives of personal data processing indicated in 8th and 9th articles of PA, your personal data, with the purpose of carrying out TEKAY’s commercial activity in compliance with the legislation and company policies and for our business units to do necessary works in this respect can be shared with our affiliates, suppliers, external service providers and all state institutions and organizations authorized by law.
As Data Owner, Your Rights indicated in 11th article of PA
According to 11th article of PA, which came into force on 7th October 2015, you have the rights regarding your personal data as follows:
– To know whether your personal data is processed or not,
– If it is processed, to request information regarding this,
– To know the processing purposes of personal data and whether these are used in compliance with their purposes or not.
– To know third persons to which the personal data is transmitted at home or abroad
– In the case of incorrect or deficient processing of personal data, to request these to be corrected and request the act done for this correction to be notified to the third persons that personal data was transmitted to.
– Although it is processed in accordance with PA and other related provisions of law, in the case of the disappearance of the reasons requiring the processing, to request personal data to be deleted or disposed, and to request the act done for this to be notified to the third persons that personal data was transmitted to.
– To raise an objection to a result which is against oneself by analysis of the processed data via exclusively automatic systems
– In the case of sustaining loss as a result of processing of the personal data in defiance with the law, to request the loss to be compensated.
